It is with great pleasure that I would like to officially announce the inaugural winner of the $1,000 Sleepopolis scholarship award! This year’s scholarship award goes to Christian Barham.
Christian is a high school senior and planning to attend the University of Texas at Austin. As a high school student Christian has excelled, graduating with honors as Cum Laude. Christian plans to study Business at the University of Texas.

Christian’s video submission clearly answered all of the application questions in a way that was both interesting and entertaining to watch. The video, production, and editing quality were sharp throughout. Finally, his ideas on what is the next big industry that’s in need of a shake up were well informed and he communicated a clear path for the type of activities that would be needed to bring that change.
