Mattress1One Launches New Store Credit Card with TD Bank

TD Bank’s U.S. Partnerships business announced today that it’s signed a multi-year agreement with mattress retailer Mattress1One to develop a private credit card financing program for the brand.

One of the leading credit card issuers in the United States, TD Bank has had a relationship with Mattress1One since the company opened its first store five years ago. Since then, business has boomed and the brand has opened hundreds of new locations throughout Florida, Texas and Georgia, prompting a renewed and deeper partnership with TD Bank.

“When it came to offering our own branded Mattress1One retail card, we knew that leveraging an expert in the marketplace would allow us to bring our customers the best in retail financing,” explained Maged Salem, president of Mattress1One. “Our business has experienced strong growth over the past five years, since first offering a financing program with TD Bank.”

“Today, we have 300 locations making us the fastest growing private mattress retailer in the U.S., so we understand the great value that a world class financial partner brings,” Salem continued. “These offerings have been instrumental to our growth strategy, and we’re incredibly excited to take our business to the next level through a branded card program.”

The move is backed by TD Bank’s U.S. Partnerships business, which launches and administers new credit card programs to catalog, e-commerce and brick-and-mortar distributors like Mattress1One.

“By tailoring our offerings to fit individual retailers’ customer preferences we are able to provide financing options that work for both the retailer and their customers,” Rittler said. “And because we have longstanding experience working with Mattress1One, we’ve been able to dive in and customize a program that we know will be an excellent fit for this business.”

Mattress1One last made headlines this past August when it pledged to donate $350,000 to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, including donating mattresses to shelters and churches. The company, which has stores throughout the Houston area, experienced severe damage to several of its retail locations as a result of the flooding.
