Bedgear Launches New Stores In Australia and Thailand

Performance sleep tech company Bedgear has announced the launch of hundreds of new stores throughout the Pacific Rim, a move that will expand its ever-growing global reach.

The sleep retailer was founded in 2009 to satisfy the demand for high-performance bedding that was as comfortable as it was practical. What began as an upstart of moisture-wicking and phase change sheets, pillows and mattresses quickly blossomed into a fully customizable suite of products aimed at fulfilling every consumer’s individual sleep needs.

As the products evolved, so did the brand’s popularity. Within the last two years, the company has see a proliferation of brick-and-mortar Bedgear Sleep Shops both domestically in the United States and internationally in countries around the world, including Canada, Russia and China.

“The interest we saw for BEDGEAR Performance Sleep Shops over eight years in the U.S. has now been surpassed by international demand in just 18 months,” explained Eugene Alletto, CEO of BEDGEAR. “These new store openings across the globe show the evolution of an American brand… we believe in working with strong partners to help fulfill a shared aspirational vision for how people can consider personalized sleep as the essential choice for fueling their passions of family, sport or work.”

This aspirational vision has extended to both Australia (with the inclusion of Bedgear goods in 100 Snooze shops nationwide) and most recently in Thailand, where the brand has partnered up with distributor Dunlopillo.

“We are committed to helping our customers truly enjoy their sleep experience and with BEDGEAR, we are now bringing them a new way to think about sleep,” said Mr. Pisit Ongsritragul, Managing Director of Dunlopillo Thailand. “It is refreshing to partner with a company who understands that the benefits of sleep transcend the time spent in bed, directly impacting how you feel and what you achieve throughout the day. We’re very excited to introduce this strong American brand to our shoppers along with the concept of personalized fit and are confident it will bring new inspiration to our customers.”

Moving forward, the brand will continue to increase its presence worldwide and plans to unveil a new performance mattress sometime this spring. For more on Bedgear’s current offerings, check out our reviews of some of its pillows and sheets.
