Side — The Big Fig could be a good option for some average and heavy side sleepers, as it does provide some cushioning. However, sleepers with joint pain may want to opt for a softer bed (or add a mattress topper for a pressure-relieving layer). Lightweight side sleepers will almost certainly find the Big Fig too firm to provide any pressure relief for their shoulders and hips.
Stomach — We also think the Big Fig is an all-around good choice for stomach sleepers, of all weights. It provides lots of firm support to keep these sleepers’ hips propped up, which is key for preventing lower back pain.

Support Layer: The Titan Plus is supported by a 6-inch section of 961 TitanCaliber encased coils. These coils are designed to add a sturdy structure to the bed to ensure heavy sleepers don’t sink down too far into the bed. Additionally, pocketed coils reduce motion transfer and allow the coils to more easily adjust to the shape of your body, as opposed to interlocking traditional innerspring coils.
Base Layer: Underneath the support coils is a 2-inch layer of high-density foam, which provides support to the coils above.

Stellar: Big Fig offers stellar customer service. They offer live chat, email, and a phone line open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, to answer questions for customers. They even provide a mailing address where you can send physical mail. I tested out their chat service and the chatbot was able to answer my question, as well as offering the option to speak with a live agent if I wasn’t satisfied with the answer.
Additionally, Big Fig offers white glove delivery and mattress removal services, which is a huge plus in customer service. White glove delivery means a team will bring the mattress into your house and set it up in your room of choice and mattress removal means they’ll remove and discard your old mattress.
