Popular bed-in-a-box company Casper today announced plans to open a string of standalone shops in Canada.

The multi-province fleet will include brick-and-mortar retail locations from coast to coast, with the first coming to Toronto next month. As in the brand’s permanent store in New York City (operational as of this past February), the Canadian locales will include small “houses” in which customers can try out all the different beds.

“We’ve seen tremendous success in Canada with three years of triple digit growth,” said Casper CEO Philip Krim of the company’s expansion. “Investing further in the market and expanding our local presence will enable us to bring better sleep to even more Canadians across the country.”

As part of this mission to bring better sleep to those up north, Casper has also planned to set up an official headquarters in Toronto, which will serve as a home base for the brand in the country.

“Over the past three years, Casper has built a loyal customer base in Canada and we’ve seen the demand to experience our products in-person grow exponentially,” added Nicole Tapscott, Senior Director and General Manager, Casper Canada. “Putting down permanent roots with our fleet of retail stores and a headquarters in Toronto will allow us to engage with customers on a local level, as well as tap into Canada’s impressive talent base.”

The news of this Canadian expansion comes just months after it was announced that Target would begin selling Casper’s products on its website and in nearly 1,000 of its retail locations nationwide.

While the company has plans to open more standalone shops in the U.S., customers can currently visit pop-up locations in California, Colorado, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and New York.
