Helix Sleep’s all-natural and sustainable sleep brand, Birch, is expanding into the children’s market with its launch of the Birch Kids Natural Mattress. The mattress is designed to support children from ages 3 through 12.

The mattress is dual-sided, featuring a firmer side for developing children ages 3 to 7, and a softer side for children ages 8 to 12.

Made with hypoallergenic materials, the mattress is a sustainable sleep solution by being both Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified and GREENGUARD Gold certified. These certifications have the highest standard of safety. The mattress is also built with Fair Trade certified organic cotton and eco-INSTITUT certified natural latex.

Adam Tishman, founder of Helix Sleep, explained his excitement stating, “Birch was created with the mission to build the world’s most comfortable, sustainably sourced, and organic sleep products, and we’re proud to extend this mission further by creating a non-toxic, flippable sleep solution for kids whose needs and preferences change as they grow.”

Birch by Helix launched in 2019 as the company’s all natural and sustainable sleep brand, ensuring all Birch products are 100 percent organic certified.

The 100-percent organic wool layers under the quilted cover creates a safe and effective natural fire-retardant solution. The wool also contains properties to help prevent the build up of dust and other potential harmful allergens. Not to mention these layers provide deluxe comfort.

The Birch Kids Natural Mattress currently retails for $1,199 in a twin and $1,399 for a full. All mattresses come with a free 100-night sleep and free shipping.
