In this review, we’ll be comparing two different mattresses from the same company: the SweetNight Dreamy Hybrid mattress and the SweetNight Dreamy Foam mattress. One’s an all-foam bed, while the other’s a mix of foams and coils. They have their own tailored feels and materials, so which one is the right pick for you?
That’s where I come in. I’m going to put these mattresses head-to-head and see how they compare and differ with various components — from their constructions to their firmness levels.
Read on for my full comparison or skip down to the review summary for a quick overview. Let’s get started!
Note: The Dreamy Foam was previously named the Dreamy S1 and the Dreamy Hybrid was previously named the Dreamland.

Dreamy Hybrid vs Dreamy Foam: Which is Better for You?
Depending on factors like your body weight, preferred sleeping position, and whether or not you sleep with a partner or pet, one of these mattresses may be a better pick for you than the other. Take a look below at some of my recommendations.
Who Should Buy the Dreamy Hybrid
- If you want a cushiony, bouncy feel in your bed, then I think this one’s a better fit for you.
- If you like the idea of a hybrid mattress that has coils for support and foams for pressure relief, this is right up your alley.
- Lastly, back sleepers, side sleepers, and lightweight stomach sleepers should be happy on this bed.
Who Should Buy the Dreamy Foam
- If you like that classic, slow-moving memory foam feel, this is a great pick.
- If you want to be able to choose between different firmness levels, this has three options you can experiment with — which is great news for all kinds of sleepers.
- I think couples could especially enjoy this bed since it has good edge support and motion isolation.
Dreamy Hybrid vs Dreamy Foam: Similarities and Differences
Let’s take a look at the key similarities and differences between these two beds, aside from them being siblings in the SweetNight family.
Main Similarities
- These are very affordable mattresses. Both are less than $800 at full retail for a queen size. You can also take a look at our coupons page to save more.
- Both have a cooling gel layer in them to help prevent sleepers from overheating at night. This should be appealing for hot sleepers out there.
- They’re both great choices for back sleepers and a lot of side sleepers since their foam layers offer support and pressure relief. I’ll go over the specific kind of sleepers I think they work best for more later on.
Differences
- The all-foam Dreamy Foam has a quicksand-like foam feeling. You’ll feel more cradled by the mattress than propped up by it, while the Dreamy Hybrid has more of a soft, cushiony feel that keeps you lifted while sleeping on it.
- We’ll dive into this more later on, but they’re built totally differently. The Dreamy Foam is all foam, and the Dreamy Hybrid is foam and coils.
- The Dreamy Foam is a flippable mattress with three different firmness levels you can sleep on. It comes in 10 and 12-inch heights, while the Dreamy Hybrid comes in 8, 10, and 12-inch heights.
Dreamy Hybrid and Dreamy Foam Mattress Feel Comparison
Now let’s get into detail about how these beds feel. A mattress will feel different to you depending on your body weight, shape, and preferred sleeping position.
Dreamy Hybrid
We gave the Dreamy Hybrid a 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale. The industry standard for medium-firm is a 6.5 out of 10, so it’s a touch softer than average. You can easily push into the soft top foam layer with your hand, but the coils and foams work together to evenly support your body weight when you sleep on the bed.
Overall, it has a medium-soft, cushiony feel. Because the bed is a bit bouncy with the coils and the top foam is quick to respond to movement, I think it’d be a good fit for combination sleepers who change positions at night.
Dreamy Foam
As I touched on earlier, the Dreamy Foam has three different firmness levels you can change by rotating or flipping the bed. It has a soft, medium, and firm level. I gave the soft side of the Dreamy Foam a 6 out of 10, so I found it a little softer than average.
Overall, the Dreamy Foam has a classic memory foam feel. If you push into the foam, it takes longer to reform than the Dreamy Hybrid’s layers. This is noteworthy for anyone who wants to sink into the bed.
Comparing What it’s Like to Sleep on the Dreamy Hybrid and Dreamy Foam
As mentioned earlier, your body weight and preferred sleeping position will determine how a mattress feels to you. So, let’s go through how each bed could feel for the following sleepers:
Dreamy Hybrid
Back — I think the Dreamy Hybrid is a great option for back sleepers. The coils inside offer support and the top foam layers bring pressure relief.
Side — Side sleepers should also feel good on the Dreamy Hybrid. Its top foam layers offered decent sinkage and cradled my pressure points (shoulder and hip) quite nicely.
Stomach — I think most stomach sleepers weighing more than 130 pounds are going to want a firmer bed in order to keep their hips propped up and aligned with their spine. This is crucial to help prevent back pain. However, I think lighter stomach sleepers (under 130 pounds) will be okay on this mattress. You can check out our top picks for the best mattresses for stomach sleepers to learn more.
Body Weight — A mattress is going to feel firmer to someone lighter in weight than to someone who’s heavier. On the contrary, if you’re a heavier sleeper, a mattress is going to feel softer to you, as you’ll sink into it more. I don’t think the Dreamy Hybrid is going to be supportive enough for sleepers weighing more than 250 pounds. Instead, I’d recommend taking a look at our roundup of best beds for heavier people.
Dreamy Foam
Back — The Dreamy Foam is a good pick for back sleepers. I’d recommend trying out the medium or firm firmness level for any back sleepers who suffer from pain, as it will encourage healthy sleep posture.
Side — I think the soft side of the Dreamy Foam should work well for a lot of side sleepers. The medium and firm sides will likely be too firm for these sleepers.
Stomach — The Dreamy Foam’s firm side should appeal to stomach sleepers, as it will do a good job keeping their hips elevated and aligned with their spine. Lightweight stomach sleepers should be comfortable on all three firmness levels.
Body Weight — If you’re a lighter sleeper, this mattress will feel a bit firmer, and if you’re heavier, it will feel a bit softer. Thanks to its high-density foam layers, I think heavier sleepers (weighing over 250 pounds) should feel comfortable on the Dreamy Foam.

Comparing Dreamy Hybrid and Dreamy Foam Mattress Materials
Now that you have a better idea of how the Dreamy Hybrid and Dreamy Foam feel, I want to dig into their layers to see the full construction of each mattress. Both mattresses have CertiPUR-US certified foams and have OEKO-TEX Certifications, meaning their materials have passed various testing to ensure they’re safe and free of harmful chemicals.
Dreamy Hybrid
Cover — The cover is a woven fabric cover with a white top design.
Comfort Layers — Next up is a cooling gel memory foam layer to help prevent body heat from trapping. Below that is a pressure relieving foam layer to bring sleepers comfort.
Support Layer — This layer is zoned pocketed coils that help make the bed durable while also promoting spinal alignment for sleepers. Pocketed coils allow for airflow in the bed as well, which is a perk for hot sleepers.
Edge Support – The Dreamy Hybrid has a foam encasement around the perimeter of the bed to help keep the edges stable.
Dreamy Foam
Cover – The Dreamy Foam has a wool fabric cover with a gray design, which is thick and soft to the touch.
Comfort Layers – Below the cover is a contouring memory foam layer and a cooling gel foam layer. These layers adjust to the sleeper’s body and position, while also dissipating body heat.
Support Layer – Two final layers of firm foam finish out the Dreamy Foam’s construction. They help keep the bed supportive and allow for it to have different firmness levels when you rotate or flip the bed.

SweetNight Customer Service
Below, I’ll give the brand’s customer service team a score based on my own personal experience interacting with them. Possible scores include stellar, great, satisfactory, and poor.
SweetNight Sleepopolis Customer Service Rating
Poor: I gave SweetNight’s customer service a poor rating because it was difficult to get in touch with a real human, and once I did, they were unable to answer my questions at a satisfactory level. They did not have a human manning their online chat feature or phone when I reached out. Someone did call me back and email me back. However, they were unable to answer my questions when I asked for more details about the mattress’ materials.
