What are the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo Sheets Made Of?
With so many varieties of materials used to make bed sheets, it’s important to know what sheets are made of as you’re shopping. From percale to sateen to linen to flannel sheets, there’s a lot of variety.
As the name suggests, the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets are made from pure bamboo — specifically, 100 percent organic bamboo. This material is popular for bedding because of its soft and silky texture, as well as being hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, and temperature regulating.

I tested a queen size sheet set for this review, but the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets come in eight different sizes:
- Twin (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, one pillowcase)
- Twin XL (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, one pillowcase)
- Full (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, two pillowcases)
- Short Queen (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, two pillowcases)
- Queen (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, two pillowcases)
- King (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, two pillowcases)
- California King (one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, two pillowcases)
- Split King (two fitted sheets, one flat sheet, two pillowcases)
Additionally, the fitted sheets feature 16-inch pockets, which are large enough to fit most mattresses.
What Do the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo Sheets Feel Like?
I thought the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheet set had a very silky, satiny, and soft feel. Like real silk, the sheets also have a lustrous sheen that offers a very luxurious look. The sheets also felt extremely lightweight and airy to me — I could barely feel the top sheet on me when I laid under it. It’s practically weightless!
If you’ve had bamboo sheets before, I would note these sheets have a somewhat distinctive feel from other bamboo sheets I’ve tested. Some bamboo sheets are stretchy, with a similar feel to jersey. These sheets don’t have that ultra-stretchy characteristic. Linenwalas describes them as “vegan silk” which is an apt way to describe the feeling.
Are the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo Sheets Good for Hot Sleepers?
I think the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets are a good choice for hot sleepers. Bamboo is one of the best fabrics for hot sleepers. Bamboo fibers are both thermo-regulating (meaning the fabric will adjust with your body temperature) and moisture-wicking (meaning the fabric wicks sweat away from you instead of absorbing it, leaving you feeling damp).
As I mentioned above, these sheets also have a very breezy and light feel, which further makes them a good choice for hot sleepers in my book.

How Durable are Linenwalas Organic Bamboo Sheets?
I thought the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets felt like decent quality. While they do look and feel like luxury sheets, I did notice they were quite thin, which can be easier to rip than thicker fabrics. Additionally, I didn’t notice any pilling on these sheets. They are advertised as being pilling-resistant but I’ve had some issues in the past with bamboo sheets pilling easily, so that’s something I would keep an eye out for.
These sheets also wrinkled quite easily in my experience, which could be frustrating for those who like easy-maintenance, wrinkle-free sheets.
Be sure to follow the proper care instructions for the Linenwalas Bamboo sheets to keep them in their best condition. I’ll go over some best practices in the FAQ section.
Do the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo Sheets Stay on the Bed?
The Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets have deep pockets, at 16 inches — large enough for most mattresses. I had no issues with these sheets staying on the bed, but I will note their slippery texture and lightweight feel makes these sheets tangle and slide around a little more easily than more structured sheets.
Are Linenwalas Organic Bamboo Sheets Good for You?
With all that in mind, let’s go over who should try the Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets, as well as some complaints.
Who should try Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets
- If you like sheets with a silky feel, these “vegan silk” sheets will likely appeal to you. They look and feel like silk.
- If you are a hot sleeper, these are a great option. Bamboo is moisture-wicking, temperature-regulating, and these sheets are super light and airy.
- If you like color options, Linenwalas offers a lot of them. You can style your bedroom to your heart’s content.
Linenwalas Organic Bamboo sheets complaints
- If you prefer bamboo sheets with a stretchy feel, the silky soft feel of the Linenwalas sheets may not appeal to you. Check out our best bamboo sheets for more options.
- If you have a short mattress, the 16-inch pockets may actually be too large and fit loosely on your mattress.
- If you like wrinkle-resistant sheets, these might not be the best bet. I found they wrinkled fairly easily.

Are bamboo sheets better for hot sleepers than cotton sheets?
Bamboo and cotton are both popular among hot sleepers, but they have different qualities. Cotton tends to be much more breathable than bamboo, but it depends on the weave.
