Now, I’ve already had the pleasure of testing this brand’s sleep headphones (cleverly named Bedphones), and was pretty impressed by them! But in this review, I’m focusing exclusively on the Moonbow sleep mask. So, without further ado, let’s see what it’s all about.

How Does The Moonbow Sleep Mask Work?

I’ve been snoozing with the Moonbow sleep mask for the past week, and I’m officially ready to tell you all about my experience. But if you’re in a hurry or are only looking for the need-to-know essentials, take a minute to browse the key features below:

Moonbow Sleep Mask Key Features

The Moonbow Sleep Mask is silky, shiny, and silver.
  • Soft Silver Satin – Covered in satin and filled with cotton, this sleep mask is meant to feel soft and soothing against the skin. It’s exclusively offered in a shiny silver color that, in my opinion, is really pretty.
  • Wide Design – You’ll notice that this eyemask is quite a bit bigger than others on the market, and that was totally intentional. Its extra wide design is meant to cover your eyes and ears in order to block out the light and muffle outside noises.
  • Velcro Patch – A long velcro patch lets you adjust the straps in order to find the fit that’s perfect for you. I prefer a looser fit, but you should feel free to experiment with what feels best.
  • Machine Washable – When your sleep mask gets dirty, just throw it in the wash on a cool cycle and allow it to air-dry. Easy-peasy!

Now that we’ve seen the key features of the Moonbow Sleep Mask, you probably already have a good idea as to whether or not it’s the right fit for you. But to really point you in the right direction, allow me to detail my own experience snoozing with it.

My Experience With The Moonbow Sleep Mask

I’ll come right out and say it — I love this sleep mask.

Firstly, the satin fabric is very soothing on my skin and hair. As a curly-haired sleeper, I try to avoid cotton or polyester eye masks, as they tend to rub against my hair in a way that makes it frizzy. But this smooth satin mask was super gentle on my locks, and the velcro patch allowed me to let it hang a little loose around my head.

Additionally, folks who apply lotion before bed might like to know that satin is generally less absorbent than cotton. In my experience, this prevented the fabric from pulling face cream away from my skin, which is a big perk, in my opinion. But, for me, the biggest draw to this sleep mask is its oversized design.

Snoozing with the Moonbow Sleep Mask.

As I said, this mask features an extra wide design to make absolutely sure that no light peeks through while you snooze. Plus, it’s big enough to go over your ears too, which adds a little noise cancelling bonus. I also appreciate that it’s machine washable. Remember — you’re going to want to make sure that any eye mask you wear can be cleaned regularly (it does go on your face, after all).

Ultimately, it’s hard for me to come up with any complaints about this eye mask. It feels smooth, looks pretty, and blocks out all the light. Not to mention, it’s only $30 and comes with a 1-year warranty. Pretty impressive stuff.

The Verdict: The Moonbow Sleep Mask did exactly what I’d hoped it’d do and then some. If you’re looking for a silky-smooth eye mask to block light and muffle outside sounds, I heartily recommend you give this one a try.

Well, you know this sleep mask gets high marks from me, but let’s recap the highlights one more time so you’re better equipped to make your decision:

  • Oversized Design – The Moonbow Sleep Mask is purposefully oversized in order to cover both eyes and ears. For me, this served to block out the light and my noisy neighbors.
  • Silky-Smooth – The satin cover fabric feels really soft and silky against the skin and hair. Plus, its shiny, silvery color is very pleasing to the eye.
  • Machine Washable – When it’s time to wash this sleep mask, just throw it in the machine on a cool cycle, and allow it to air-dry.

Moonbow Sleep Mask Complaints

The Moonbow Sleep Mask is big enough to cover my eyes and ears!

Before you get to shoppin’, there are a few things you might want to consider first:

  • Bigger Than Average – While I appreciate the oversized design, not everyone will. If you prefer a smaller sleep mask that doesn’t cover your ears as well, this might not be the best fit for you.
  • One Color Option – This is a bit nitpicky, but it’s worth noting that this sleep mask only comes in the silver color I’m testing here.

Anything Else I Should Know?

  • Price – $30
  • Size – One Size
  • 30-Day Return Policy
  • Free Shipping – within the U.S.
  • 1-Year Warranty
