In the world of mattresses, words like cheap and budget-friendly often signal that something is poorly made and quick to deteriorate. However, SweetNight aims to flip that narrative with its wallet-friendly CoolNest mattress. This affordable all-foam bed is designed to deliver the pressure relief and contouring memory foam is known for, while incorporating additional support and cooling features to help hot sleepers rest more comfortably.
Memory foam comes with its own unique benefits compared to hybrid mattresses and other models. As our Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Raj Dasgupta, MD, FACP, FCCP, FAASM, explains:
“Memory foam typically offers superior pressure and pain relief and motion isolation, but may retain heat. However, phase change material (PCM) and gel infusions can help regulate temperature. This type of mattress is usually ideal for people who sleep with a restless partner or sleepers who need extra cushioning around pressure points, like their shoulders and hips.”
The promise of targeted support, contouring comfort, and strong motion isolation makes the CoolNest an attractive choice for a wide range of sleepers. However, we had to see if it really lived up to the hype, so we brought it into our testing studio in Charlotte, NC, for a thorough evaluation.
Our team of expert mattress testers and certified sleep science coaches has been reviewing mattresses and sleep accessories since 2014, helping more than 60,000 people (and counting) find the best mattress for them. With over 330 mattresses tested using our rigorous methodology, we ensure every review is accurate, unbiased, and helpful.
Keep reading to see how the SweetNight CoolNest performed in key categories like pressure relief, cooling, edge support, motion isolation, and more.
Affordable and hitting that sweet spot between comfort and support, the SweetNight CoolNest should appeal to back sleepers and side sleepers alike. Combination sleepers will also likely find the foams to be responsive enough to switch positions, plus the materials are good at isolation motion. This is good news for anyone who shares their bed with a restless partner.
What our tester says:
“Light and average-weight back sleepers should find a perfect balance between cushioning and support on the SweetNight CoolNest. I also think couples with restless partners or individuals who sleep with a restless pet should appreciate the CoolNest’s perfect 5-star motion isolation.” – Kenny Timper, staff writer and certified sleep science coach
SweetNight CoolNest Mattress Overview
The SweetNight CoolNest is a budget-friendly memory foam mattress that comes in three different thicknesses: 12 inches, 14 inches, and 16 inches. During testing, it earned a solid rating of 4.3 out of 5, thanks to its excellent performance in pressure relief, responsiveness, and motion isolation.
Our mattress testers found that it was most comfortable for back and stomach sleeping. However, we found that it could also work for average-weight and heavier side sleepers. Unfortunately, we found that it absorbed a surprising amount of body heat during testing in spite of its cool-to-the-touch cover. Our mattress testers also found that it was difficult to sit on the side of the bed without sliding off, meaning it’s not the best option for sleepers with mobility concerns.

SweetNight CoolNest Value
At only $599 for a queen-size mattress before any discounts, the SweetNight CoolNest is mostly a steal. I say “mostly” because it fell a bit short in the cooling and edge support categories during testing. That said, its impressive pressure relief and motion isolation scores still make it a worthy buy for couples with restless partners and most back sleepers.
SweetNight also offers a 10-year warranty and 100-night sleep trial to provide buyers additional peace of mind.

What Is the SweetNight CoolNest Made Of?
Our team tested the 12-inch version of the SweetNight CoolNest and found that, unlike many other slow-sinking foam models, it had a slightly firmer feel that could work well for a variety of sleepers. It also sports a cooling cover designed to reduce heat buildup, addressing one of the most common complaints about standard memory foam mattresses. Learn more about its layers below.
Cover – The top layer features a silky-smooth, cool-to-the-touch cover. According to mattress tester Riley Otis, it feels like mesh or spandex. During testing, Riley appreciated how cold it felt when she lay on the mattress.
Comfort Layer – The next layer is a very sponge-like layer of comfort foam infused with phase change material to help further disperse heat.
Transition Layer – The transitional layers of the SweetNight CoolNest consist of cooling gel-infused memory foam with an open-cell structure for breathability. Beneath that layer of open-cell foam is another 2 inches of high-resilience support foam.
Support Layer – Finally, the support system is a taller, dense layer of foam with an egg-carton design. Riley described seeing nine comfort bars, or long rectangles of foam placed inside the egg carton divots.

SweetNight CoolNest Mattress Firmness
Mattress firmness varies from person to person. How a mattress feels to an individual largely depends on personal attributes, such as body weight and preferred sleeping position. To thoroughly evaluate this mattress, we invited a handful of different testers with varying preferences to try the SweetNight CoolNest mattress in every sleeping position: back, side, and stomach. Each tester rates the firmness level of the mattress using our mattress firmness guide. Next, we average those scores to determine an overall firmness rating.

The SweetNight CoolNest landed on a 7 out of 10 on our firmness scale. The memory foam is slightly firmer than the industry standard of 6.5 (or medium-firm). Mattress tester Riley Otis noted that it did a spectacular job of keeping her hips aligned with her shoulders. However, she remarked that the cover had a soft feel and a nice amount of cushioning. We use a 1 to 10 scale, where 1 is ultra-soft and 10 is extremely firm. Most mattresses are around a 6.5, or medium-firm, on the firmness scale.
“My weight is very evenly distributed on this mattress,” Riley said. “I feel super balanced. There is not one area of my body that is sinking more than the other.”
SweetNight CoolNest Mattress Performance
No matter what model we test, we rely on a consistent review methodology that evaluates mattress performance based on key criteria. Our methodology allows us to help sleepers hone in on the attributes that matter most to them. Below, you will find our in-depth test results for the SweetNight CoolNest in categories like edge support, cooling, motion isolation, and more.
SweetNight CoolNest Pressure Relief Performance
The mattress you choose should effectively cushion pressure-prone areas, such as your shoulders, hips, and lower back. If your mattress does not properly relieve pressure, you will likely wake up feeling stiff or sore over time.
While testing the SweetNight CoolNest mattress, Riley used a tactile surface mat that measures how weight is distributed in both the back- and side-sleeping positions. The mat generates color-coded images with blue and green indicating low pressure, and yellow and red showing areas of pressure buildup. These results enable us to assess how effectively a mattress relieves tension for various body types and sleeping positions.
During testing, Riley found that the SweetNight CoolNest had solid pressure relief across the board. She gave it a 4 out of 5 for side-sleeping pressure relief and a perfect 5-star rating for back-sleeping pressure relief.
Since Riley is a lightweight sleeper, it can be challenging for her to find a firm mattress that still offers enough cushioning to cradle high-pressure areas, such as her shoulders and hips.
Having said that, Riley was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the CoolNest was on her side.
“In this position, my entire body sinks a few inches, rather than just my hips and shoulders sinking in,” Riley said. “There is a firm layer of foam that acts as the base, and it catches my body and helps keep my spine in alignment. I think side sleepers who prefer a firmer surface will enjoy this bed. That said, sleepers with sensitive joints may experience more pressure buildup.”
However, back-sleeping pressure relief was the real star of the show, according to Riley.
“Back sleeping feels amazing on this mattress,” Riley said. “My entire body sinks in just a few inches, and the memory foam feels like a gentle hug. I feel lifted, and my spinal alignment is perfect. The CoolNest evenly distributes my body weight in this position.”
SweetNight CoolNest Motion Isolation
We test motion isolation to determine how well a mattress dampens movement and prevents it from rippling across the bed. Couples with restless partners or sleepers with rambunctious pets typically need a mattress with superior motion isolation, or low motion transfer. Riley found that the SweetNight CoolNest excelled in motion isolation and awarded it a perfect 5 out of 5 in this category.
Riley used two performance tests to assess the CoolNest’s motion isolation: the ripple test and the partner test.

Ripple test: The first motion isolation test involves our tester lying next to a bin of water on the mattress. Our tester tosses, turns, and gets in and out of bed to see if the water ripples, splashes, or spills over. During this test, Riley found that the water in the tub was nearly motionless. She noted that the water only slightly rippled across the surface. The water never splashed out of the tub, nor did she notice any big waves or sloshing.
Partner test: The second motion transfer test is the partner test, where two testers lie next to each other on the mattress. One tester wears a blindfold and stays still on one side. Meanwhile, the other partner moves around and gets in and out of bed. The blindfolded tester raises their thumb whenever they detect movement on their side of the bed. Again, Riley was surprised by how strong the CoolNest’s performance was during this test.
“I was really impressed by this bed’s motion isolation,” Riley said “When my testing partner got into bed, I only felt a slight shift as the bed adjusted to the weight of a second person. When she began to move between different sleeping positions, I could barely feel her at all. The CoolNest did an awesome job at muffling her motion. I never felt like it was affecting my side of the bed.”
SweetNight CoolNest Responsiveness
Responsiveness refers to how quickly a mattress returns to its original shape after adding and removing weight, or shifting positions. This attribute is an essential consideration for combination sleepers (or people who frequently change positions to get comfortable), as a mattress that slowly responds to movement can make it challenging to maneuver and cause them to feel stuck in the bed.
The SweetNight CoolNest performed surprisingly well in this category, earning a 4 out of 5.
Switch test: The switch test is straightforward; a mattress tester lies on the bed and notes how difficult it is to change sleeping positions. Despite the CoolNest being a memory foam mattress, Riley found that it was relatively easy to move around on its surface.
“It is easy to roll around for the most part,” Riley said. “Since the bed is firmer than most all-foam models, it lacks the deep sinkage that commonly traps sleepers in its layers. I was able to move from one position to the next without exerting too much effort. While it is not quite as easy as it would be on a latex or innerspring bed, the all-foam construction is mostly easy to move on.”
Responsiveness test: To further measure the responsiveness of the SweetNight CoolNest, Riley placed a 53-pound kettlebell on top of the mattress with the help of her fellow mattress testers. Next, she allowed it to sink for seven seconds before removing the weight and timing how long it took for the bed to recover.
It took the SweetNight CoolNest 1.4 seconds to revert to its original shape after taking the kettlebell off it. Based on these results, we can conclude that the CoolNest quickly snaps back to its initial shape. If you are someone who constantly adjusts your position to get comfortable, you should find it easy to do so on this mattress.
Sinkage test: We use the same 53-pound kettlebell for our sinkage test. During this test, we place the kettlebell on the mattress and use a ruler to measure the depth of sinkage. Riley measured 3.5 inches of sinkage of the SweetNight CoolNest, which placed it in the moderate sinkage category. To clarify, light sinkage is up to 2.5 inches, moderate sinkage ranges from 2.6 to 4 inches, and deep sinkage is 4.1 inches or more.

Bounce test: To perform the bounce test, one of our testers climbs a ladder 6 feet above the mattress and drops a 25-pound steel ball on it. A yardstick on the wall helps us measure how high the ball bounces and determine how responsive the mattress is.
The ball bounced 21 inches on the SweetNight CoolNest, placing it in our high bounce category. This result was also much higher than the average of 15.8 inches. For reference, low bounce refers to anything under 8 inches, moderate bounce ranges from 8 to 12 inches, and high bounce is above 12 inches.
Riley found that the SweetNight CoolNest was a highly responsive memory foam mattress. Despite the absence of innerspring coils in its construction, she still thought it was a solid choice for combination sleepers who are concerned about feeling trapped in their mattress.
SweetNight CoolNest Cooling
If you wake up every morning covered in sweat, finding an effective cooling mattress can prevent overheating at night. Memory foam mattresses tend to trap more heat than innerspring and hybrid models because they lack the same channels for airflow. That said, Riley found that the CoolNest performed somewhat better than most foam mattresses do in this category.
She gave it a 3.5 out of 5 overall for cooling, meaning overheating shouldn’t be an issue for most sleepers. However, if you get particularly hot at night, you might want to consider something with a better cooling score instead.
Cover test: Before our testers lie on the mattress, they place their hands on the cover layer and note if it feels cool to the touch. When Riley felt the top layer of the SweetNight CoolNest out of the box, she said that its material felt crisp and cold.
Thermal Gun test: Next, Riley used a thermal gun to read the surface temperature of the SweetNight CoolNest before and after resting on it for five minutes. After lying on the bed for five minutes, she witnessed an 8.1-degree increase in temperature, which is slightly higher than the average increase of 7.14 degrees. In other words, the SweetNight CoolNest will likely retain more heat than other mattresses.

Feel test: During the thermal gun test, Riley also noted how it felt to her in real-time. While lying on the mattress, she didn’t feel like she was heating up too much.
“The cover felt super cool to the touch while I was lying down on it, so I was surprised to see the 8-degree increase,” Riley said. “The top layer felt very breathable, and the memory foam itself didn’t seem to retain much heat while I was on it. However, when I ran my hands on the spot where I lay, I noticed that it was a lot warmer than the untouched areas.”
SweetNight CoolNest Edge Support
Our testers assess edge support to determine how well the perimeter of a mattress holds up with someone lying or sitting on it. Edge support is an essential consideration when mattress shopping for couples, sleepers with bigger bodies, and people with mobility concerns. Sturdy edge support allows you to sit or lie along the sides of the mattress without feeling unsteady. It also gives you a strong surface to bear down on when getting up in the morning.
Edge support, according to Dr. Dasgupta, is also a good indicator of durability. “Durable mattresses often feature a robust support core and consistent support along their perimeter,” he said. “A high-quality mattress should offer long-lasting comfort and maintain its structural integrity over time, and reliable, edge-to-edge support is often a good indicator of that.”
During testing, Riley found that the SweetNight CoolNest edge support left a lot to be desired, particularly due to its slippery cover layer, which made it difficult to sit on the corners of the mattress while still feeling supported. She gave it a 2.6 out of 5 in the edge support category overall.
Tape Measure test: The tape measure test involves stacking weights directly onto the edge of the mattress and measuring how much the bed sinks under each load. We perform this test three times with different stacks of weights: 99 pounds, 154 pounds, and 198 pounds. Using a tape measure, we record the level of sinkage under each stack of weight.
This test helps us assess how well the mattress supports weight along its perimeter. The 99-pound stack represents lightweight sleepers, the 154-pound stack represents average-weight sleepers, and the 198-pound stack represents heavyweight sleepers.

While performing this test on the SweetNight CoolNest, Riley saw that the sinkage ranged from 3 inches for the lightest stack to 6.5 inches for the average-weight stack and 7.5 inches for the heaviest stack. These measurements allowed us to predict how the mattress edge might perform for different body types. For reference, 3.7 inches is the average sinkage across all the mattresses we’ve tested.
Based on Riley’s results, we think that lightweight and average-weight sleepers will likely get enough support on the SweetNight CoolNest along with some nice contouring around their joints. That said, sleepers with larger bodies may sink too far into the foam layers, causing spinal misalignment and discomfort.
Seated test: Next up was our seated test, where Riley sat along the corners and sides of the SweetNight CoolNest mattress. She sat down and stood up several times to determine how easy it was to do so and how secure she felt while sitting down on the bed. According to Riley, the slippery cooling cover made it challenging for her to sit still along the perimeter of the mattress.

“Sitting on the edge of this mattress was not comfortable,” Riley said. “The cover is super slippery, so I immediately felt like I was sliding down. Even after adding sheets, there was still a lot of sinkage while sitting down. The layers instantly compress under my weight, and I don’t feel like I can sit here and feel supported. I have to scoot back in order not to slide right off.”
Full body test: Fortunately, the SweetNight CoolNest performed better on the full body test, in which Riley lay down along the perimeter of the mattress instead. According to Riley, lying down on the perimeter of the CoolNest provided more security than sitting down. While it wasn’t perfect, she didn’t feel like she was going to slide off.
“I felt more supported lying down than I did sitting,” Riley said. “There is still some compression along the sides of the mattress; however, it felt almost as supportive as the center of the mattress. I didn’t feel like I was going to roll off the bed while lying in every position along the edge.”
SweetNight CoolNest Mattress Performance for Couples
Based on Riley’s assessment of the SweetNight CoolNest mattress, this mattress could be a viable fit for some couples. The CoolNest earned a perfect 5 out of 5 for motion isolation, so if you share a bed with a restless partner, you probably won’t feel them tossing and turning throughout the night. However, the CoolNest’s somewhat lackluster performance in the cooling and edge support categories may be a deal breaker for some couples, particularly if they tend to run hot or gravitate toward the edges of the bed after cuddle time is over.
Other Performance Factors to Consider
The tests above covered a lot of ground; however, there are still a few important considerations before deciding to replace your old mattress with the SweetNight CoolNest.
Sex
A highly responsive mattress is ideal for sex because it allows you to move around without feeling stuck in its layers. The SweetNight CoolNest is surprisingly responsive for a memory foam mattress, earning a 4 out of 5 in this category. If you and your significant other want to upgrade to a memory foam mattress without compromising mobility, the CoolNest is a solid choice here.
Noise
The SweetNight CoolNest’s lack of innerspring coils make it super silent. According to Riley, this mattress didn’t make a peep on the bed frame during testing. If you’re a light sleeper who awakens at even the slightest noises, you shouldn’t have any issues here.
Base Compatibility
Memory foam mattresses are typically more malleable; however, the SweetNight CoolNest is firmer than your average all-foam model. During testing, Riley found it difficult to use with our in-house adjustable base.
“This is not a great option for adjustable bases,” Riley said. “In the zero-gravity setting, the bed doesn’t conform to the base. The mattress doesn’t bend with the frame in various settings, meaning there’s a noticeable gap between the mattress and the base.”

Durability
Riley averaged the SweetNight CoolNest’s scores in edge support, noise, and warranty coverage to calculate the durability score. As we mentioned before, edge support is a key indicator of durability, as a sturdy perimeter usually means a mattress won’t sag over time.
The SweetNight CoolNest earned a 2.6 in edge support, a 5 in noise reduction, and a 4 in customer experience. While the SweetNight CoolNest received a lower score in the edge support category, much of that was due to its slippery top layer, not the memory foam itself. Overall, Riley rated the CoolNest a 3.9 out of 5 in durability, which is above average. Despite its edge support score, we believe this mattress should last for at least 10 years for most sleepers, thanks to its quality materials.

SweetNight CoolNest Sleeping Position and Body Weight
According to Dr. Dasgupta, body weight plays a significant role in how comfortable you feel on a mattress.
“Mattresses will typically feel firmer to sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds,” explains Dr. Dasgupta. “On the other hand, a firmer mattress might sink more for people who weigh 230 pounds or more, making it feel softer to these individuals.”
To account for this variation, our in-house team obtained feedback from testers across a range of body types. Riley invited testers of all shapes and sizes to try the SweetNight CoolNest in all sleeping positions and offer their feedback. Using her data, we are able to offer recommendations that consider both preferred sleeping position and body weight.
Before we dive into our recommendations, though, we want to recognize that people come in all shapes and sizes, and people of every size deserve a mattress that works for their body type. We use the weight categories light, average, and heavy to more easily categorize sleepers based on how mattresses will perform for their body type, as most mattresses are designed for the group we call “average” (130 to 230 pounds).
As a general takeaway, lighter sleepers don’t require as much support as average-weight sleepers, and mattresses will tend to feel firmer to them. On the other hand, heavy sleepers tend to need more support than average-weight sleepers and sink into the mattress more. As far as sleeping positions go, side sleepers likely need a softer mattress while stomach sleepers usually need a firmer, more supportive one. Back sleepers are usually somewhere in the middle.
Is the SweetNight CoolNest a Good Mattress for Light Sleepers (Under 130 pounds)?
- Light Back Sleepers – Light back sleepers who prefer a firmer surface should enjoy sleeping on the SweetNight CoolNest. Since this bed is on the firmer side, these sleepers will not feel a whole lot of sinkage. However, they should get plenty of support around their lower backs to keep their spines in alignment at night.
- Light Side Sleepers – This mattress will likely be too firm for light side sleepers. Lightweight side sleepers need a softer mattress to cradle their hips and shoulders. A surface that is too firm could cause pressure and pain to build in these areas.
- Light Stomach Sleepers – Light stomach sleepers should enjoy the SweetNight CoolNest. These sleepers will get enough elevation around their hips and lower bodies to align their spines.

Is the SweetNight CoolNest a Good Mattress for Average-Weight Sleepers (130–230 pounds)?
- Average-Weight Back Sleepers – This bed earned a perfect 5 out of 5 for back-sleeping pressure relief, meaning average-weight back sleepers should feel right at home here. These sleepers should get the perfect balance of consistent support and gentle contouring on this mattress.
- Average-Weight Side Sleepers – This mattress should work for most average-weight side sleepers. However, it might not provide enough sinkage for side sleepers with sensitive joints.
- Average-Weight Stomach Sleepers – Stomach sleepers should feel supported on the SweetNight CoolNest. These sleepers will experience a little bit of sinkage around their hips and lower bodies; however, it shouldn’t be enough to cause spinal misalignment.
Is the SweetNight CoolNest a Good Mattress for Heavy Sleepers (over 230 pounds)?
- Heavy Back Sleepers – Since this mattress is on the firmer side of the memory foam spectrum, heavy back sleepers who prefer to sink a little further into their mattress’s layers might enjoy the SweetNight CoolNest. That said, they will experience more sinkage around their hips and lower lumbar area than light and average-weight sleepers, which could cause discomfort and pressure buildup.
- Heavy Side Sleepers – I think the SweetNight CoolNest is a solid choice for heavy side sleepers. These sleepers will sink further into the CoolNest’s foams and get ample cushioning around their elbows, hips, and shoulders.
- Heavy Stomach Sleepers – I would not recommend this mattress to heavy stomach sleepers. These sleepers will likely sink too far into the memory foam, causing spinal misalignment and discomfort.

SweetNight CoolNest vs. Competitors
If you’re still on the fence about the SweetNight CoolNest and want to consider all your options before you decide, check out some of our other favorite memory foam mattress picks below.
SweetNight CoolNest vs Nectar Classic
The Nectar Classic is Nectar’s flagship memory foam mattress. It’s a well-rounded, medium-firm mattress that landed on a 6.5 out of 10 on our firmness scale. During testing, it performed well in motion isolation, cooling, and pressure relief.
- Price: A full-priced Nectar Classic mattress is $1,490 for a queen-size model. However, you can often find it on sale for under $700. Even when it is not on sale, the CoolNest is the cheaper option.
- Sleeping position: Both mattresses are good options for light and average-weight back sleepers. However, the Nectar Classic is probably the better option for side sleepers across the board, as it is slightly softer. On the other hand, I would more readily recommend the SweetNight CoolNest to heavy back and side sleepers. Neither mattress is a good choice for heavy stomach sleepers.
- Cooling: The Nectar outperformed the SweetNight CoolNest on our cooling tests and earned a 4.5 out of 5 in this category.
- Body weight: Both mattresses could work for most average and lightweight sleepers. Neither are the best options for sleepers with bigger bodies.
Read more in our full Nectar Classic mattress review.
The Nectar delivers a balance of comfort and support: it’s definitely contouring, but still provides a firm enough foundation for most light to average weight sleepers, especially if they sleep on their back or stomach. Plus, a lengthy trial period, lifetime warranty, and affordable price make the Nectar a reassuring choice for many. Watch our video review to learn more.
What our tester says:
“I think back sleepers are going to love the Nectar Classic. These sleepers will get plenty of support from the firm memory foam in the Nectar Classic, which should translate to great pressure relief and a good night’s sleep. Similarly, lightweight and average-weight stomach sleepers should find that they get enough support around their hips to sleep comfortably on this mattress. The Nectar Classic is firm enough to keep these sleepers’ spines in a healthy position.” – Kenny Timper, staff writer and certified sleep science coach
SweetNight CoolNest vs Leesa Original
Similar to the SweetNight CoolNest, the Leesa Original is a firmer memory foam mattress that lands on a 7 out of 10 on our firmness scale. The Leesa Original performed well across the board, scoring a 4 out of 5 or higher in cooling, edge support, responsiveness, and motion isolation.
- Price: At $1,332 before any discounts, the Leesa Original memory foam has a much higher price tag than the SweetNight CoolNest.
- Sleeping position: Both mattresses should work for most back and stomach sleepers; however, lightweight side sleepers may find that they are both too firm.
- Cooling: The Leesa outperformed the SweetNight CoolNest in cooling, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 in this category.
- Body weight: I think either mattresses could work for most average and lightweight sleepers. However, I would not recommend these mattresses to sleepers with bigger bodies.
Read more in our full Leesa Original mattress review.
While it’s an all-foam mattress on the softer end of the firmness scale, the Leesa should still offer enough support for a neutral spinal alignment, which is good news for back sleepers. Some side sleepers will also get the contouring they need at the shoulders and hips. Learn more in our Leesa video review.
What our tester says:
“I think the Leesa is a great choice for back sleepers and should give them the comfort and support they desire. It could also work for some combination sleepers, as it’s bouncy enough to easily move around on.” – Bridget Chapman, former senior product editor
Our Review Process
At Sleepopolis, our team of certified sleep science coaches personally test each mattress. We start by unboxing the mattress to figure out how difficult (or easy) it is to get the mattress from the box to the bed. Then, we spend time lying on the bed in different positions, taking time to assess it on our backs, stomachs, and sides. Next, we perform our Sleepopolis tests, using specialized tools to measure qualities like motion transfer, bounce, and pressure relief. Our last step is to open up the mattress and take a look at each layer. These steps allow us to give our final verdict on the mattress.
FAQs
Do SweetNight mattresses have fiberglass in them?
According to SweetNight, their mattresses are fiberglass-free.
Are SweetNight mattresses good for back pain?
The SweetNight CoolNest is a good option for sleepers with back pain. These sleepers need a surface that is supportive enough to keep their spines aligned. Since the all-foam CoolNest is on the firmer side, these sleepers should get a good balance of support and cushioning to relieve any tension in their lower backs.
Are SweetNight mattresses good for side sleepers?
The SweetNight CoolNest is a good option for heavy and average-weight side sleepers. These sleepers should sink into its memory foam layers enough to get enough cushioning around their shoulders and hips. However, the CoolNest is likely too firm for side sleepers under 130 pounds.
