Update – full Lull mattress review is now live! Check it out!
Say hello to the brand new Lull mattress! As a 10″ all foam mattress, the Lull combines 3 layers of foam to provide comfort, support, bounce, and cooling all in one package. Lull is focused on transparency, durability, and a universal comfort feel that most sleepers will enjoy.
Check out the Lull’s full mattress unboxing below!
After my first night’s sleep on the Lull, here are my initial thoughts:
- Medium firm feel – coming in at a 6.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale, where 10 is the most firm, I would say the mattress offers a medium firm feel. It has a balanced level of comfort and support. Many times 10″ all foam mattresses have a tendency to bottom out the sleeper. However, the Lull does a great job of maintaining solid support and appropriate push-back without becoming uncomfortable.
- Supportive – the Lull offers consistent support across the mattress. I primarily sleep on my stomach and side and my wife is mostly on her side and back. The mattress created quality support in all of these positions for both my wife and I.
- Good cooling – with a 1.5″ top layer of gel infused memory foam, the Lull does a good job of keeping you cool. Additionally, Lull’s balanced feel and support prevents sleepers from becoming excessively entrapped by the foams. Other memory foam mattresses have a tendency to create this type of a feel, which can result in heat retention issues. The combination of gel + responsive balanced feel prevent the mattress from heating up.
- Minimal motion transfer – built from 3 layers of foam, the Lull had very little motion transfer during the night. The top 2 layers of memory foam help to dissipate much of the motion energy, preventing my wife or I from disturbing each other during the night.
Per usual, if you have any questions about the Lull mattress, don’t hesitate to drop me a comment down below.
