Popular mattress company Purple debuted three new mattresses this week, all of which combine the brand’s proprietary polymer technology with pocketed coils for an upgraded sleeping experience.

The fresh batch of Purple beds was first unveiled at select Mattress Firm locations this past November, but officially made the move online this Wednesday. While the new mattresses use the same patented Hyper-Elastic Polymer® technology that’s endeared Purple beds to customers since 2016, they also feature additional response coils intended to provide extra support to the sleeper.

“Our focus is always on providing the most comfortable and supportive products on the market, with the highest quality and most accessible prices,” explained Purple CEO Sam Bernards. “This new line of mattresses features the most advanced comfort science available, with several different options to ensure everyone can find a mattress perfect for them.”

These different options are expressed in three unique mattresses: the Purple.2, the Purple.3 and the Purple.4. While all of the beds feature 7.5″ of individually wrapped response coils, they employ varying amounts of polymer to create an array of comfort levels. Fortunately, the amount of polymer corresponds to the number tacked onto the end of the name, so the Purple.2 uses 2″ of Hyper-Elastic Polymer® in the top layer while the Purple.3 has three and the Purple.4 uses—you guessed it!—four.

So… what does this mean?

To give you a better sense of what this could mean for you, the consumer, I’m going to break down some of the specs of these news mattresses.

Purple.2 – The firmest of the bunch, billed as an “upgrade” on the original Purple mattress. Since it only has 2″ of the Hyper-Elastic Polymer®, it would probably be a good option for back and stomach sleepers. Prices from $1,299.

Purple.3 – Designed to exist in the “sweet spot” between soft and firm beds, this mattress is intended for couples with different sleeping positions. Prices from $1,899.

Purple.4 – Advertised as the softest mattress in the entire Purple suite, the Purple.4 stacks up to 13.5″ of comfort and could be a good fit for anyone who wants a plush feel. Prices from $2,499.
