Fill: This duvet’s fill is 100 percent polyester microfiber down alternative. Down alternatives are materials meant to mimic the feeling of down, which is the soft, quill-less feathers of waterfowl.
The Douglas Down Alternative Duvet uses quilted chambers — the stitched squares — to keep the fill evenly distributed throughout the entire duvet. It also features corner loops which allow you to attach a duvet cover if you wish.

I also thought it was quite cozy — I definitely wanted to stay snuggled up in it all day as I was testing it out.

The Douglas Down Alternative duvet feels like a good quality product to me. I appreciate the quilted stitching to ensure even fill distribution and that this duvet is machine washable. Both of those factors will keep this duvet in good condition for longer. However, it is worth noting this duvet is made entirely with synthetic materials, which I think are generally lower quality than high-quality, natural materials like real down, cotton, and so on.
