What are the Brooklinen Classic Core Sheets Made Of?
There are a lot of different sheet materials out there, from cotton to bamboo to linen. Each material comes with its own unique feel, as well its own pros and cons.
The Brooklinen Classic Core sheet set is made from 100 percent long-staple cotton in a percale weave. A percale weave uses a one over one under weave, which creates a lightweight, airy, and crisp feel. These sheets have a 270-thread count, which is a good thread count range for percale sheets.

Additionally these sheets are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified to be free from harmful chemicals.
Each Classic Core sheet set comes with one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and two pillowcases. The fitted sheet features tags on the long and short sides to simplify the process of making your bed. Brooklinen also sells a few other bedding bundles for the Classic percale sheets, including:

What Do the Brooklinen Classic Core Sheets Feel Like?
I thought the Brooklinen Classic Core percale sheets had a very… classic percale feel! Percale is known for its crisp and lightweight feel, and I thought these sheets fit that vibe exactly. They feel structured, but also still soft and buttery. They feel crisp, but not scratchy.
The percale weave gives these sheets a matte finish. I did notice them wrinkle fairly easily as I tested them, as well as being a bit crinkly.
Are the Brooklinen Classic Core Sheets Good for Hot Sleepers?
If you’re a hot sleeper, having sheets that keep you cool is essential. Fortunately, these cotton percale sheets are fantastic for hot sleepers. Being a percale weave, these sheets are lightweight and breathable, allowing for air to flow freely and preventing heat from being trapped. Cotton sheets are also a great pick for hot sleepers, as cotton is a naturally breathable material.

How Durable are Brooklinen Classic Core Sheets?
The Brooklinen Classic Core sheets feel like high-quality sheets to me. I feel especially confident in their durability, thanks to the use of long-staple cotton fibers. Long staples are less likely to pill and maintain a smooth texture in the sheet over time.

Do the Brooklinen Classic Core Sheets Stay on the Bed?
I had no issue with the Brooklinen Classic Core sheets staying on the bed. The pockets of the fitted sheet are 15 inches, which is a good size but not especially large. If you have a particularly tall mattress or a mattress topper, you may want a fitted sheet with extra deep pockets.
