The LUXOME Luxury sheet set is a bamboo viscose sheet set from bedding brand LUXOME. As a brand, LUXOME is all about providing a luxurious experience at home, with sleep products aimed at creating comfortable and inviting spaces. So I was intrigued to try these bed sheets, especially because they are notably less expensive than similar luxury bamboo sheets.
In this review, I’ll cover what the LUXOME Luxury sheets are made of, how they feel, and more to help you decide if they are the right sheet set for you. Short on time? Skip ahead for a review summary.

What Are the LUXOME Luxury Sheets Made Of?
Sheets can be made with a variety of different materials, such as cotton, bamboo, linen, and so on. The material a sheet is made with determines generally how it will look and feel, so let’s talk about what the LUXOME Luxury sheets are made of.
The LUXOME Luxury sheets are made from 100 percent bamboo viscose with a sateen weave. Bamboo viscose is a semi-synthetic material derived from bamboo pulp — it’s well-known for its soft and silky feel as well as its moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating properties. The bamboo viscose used in these sheets is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified.
Each set comes with a fitted sheet and flat sheet. The twin and twin XL sets come with just one pillowcase, while the other sizes come with two pillowcases. The fitted sheets have deep pockets — 15 inches for twin and twin XL, 17 inches for the other sizes. And they feature elastic corner bands to provide a secure fit.
What Do the LUXOME Luxury Sheets Feel Like?
The LUXOME Luxury sheets definitely live up to their name, with a silky and luxurious feel. They feel similar to many other bamboo sheets I have tested (and I have tested quite a few). I like bamboo sheets because they tend to have a flowy, lightweight feel while being super soft, and the LUXOME Luxury sheet set fits that description perfectly.
When I first took the LUXOME Luxury sheets out of the bag (the sheet set comes packaged in a small bag, similar to a dust bag for shoes or a purse, I immediately noticed how smooth and satiny they felt. I also quickly noticed as I made the bed with the sheets and laid down that the sheets are quite slippery as well. This reminded me of many silk sheets that I’ve previously tested, as well as some other bamboo sheets. Some bamboo sheets can feel more stretchy — similar to a jersey knit — while some can lean more into the silky realm, like these ones do.
Are the LUXOME Luxury Sheets Good for Hot Sleepers?
Yes, I think the LUXOME Luxury sheets are a good pick for hot sleepers. Bamboo is one of my go-to materials when recommending sheets for hot sleepers, because it is so lightweight, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating. The LUXOME Luxury sheets feel super airy and light when draped over the body, which keeps you feeling nice and cool. And if you do happen to sweat at night, these sheets will wick moisture away rather than absorb it, like cotton sheets would.

How Durable Are LUXOME Luxury Sheets?
I think these sheets feel fairly durable. They appear well-made, with no noticeably poor stitching, and the material felt like good quality bamboo viscose to me. Bamboo, while light and silky, is pretty sturdy in my experience. I would recommend following the provided care instructions closely to ensure the sheets remain feeling high-quality over time.
I will note though that the LUXOME Luxury sheets wrinkled pretty easily in my experience. If you want wrinkle-free sheets, these may not be the best pick for you.
Do the LUXOME Luxury Sheets Stay on the Bed?
I tested how well the LUXOME Luxury sheets stayed on the bed by getting into the bed made with the sheets and moving around, similar to how I would during a normal night of sleep. I changed between sleeping positions and got in and out of the bed.
I found the fitted sheet in this set of sheets stayed on the bed really well, thanks to the deep pockets and elastic corner bands. The elastic around the fitted sheet also felt really durable and sturdy, which I think helped to keep the sheet in place. However, because the bamboo viscose is so silky, I did find the top sheet quite slippery. That made it easy for the top sheet to become easily tangled or for it to slip out of place.
Are LUXOME Luxury Sheets Good for You?
Now let’s get to my final recommendations of who should and shouldn’t consider purchasing the LUXOME Luxury sheets.
Who Should Try LUXOME Luxury Sheets
- Hot sleepers should appreciate how light, airy, and breathable these sheets are.
- Sleepers who love a silky feel should enjoy how smooth and soft these sheets feel.
- Those with tall mattresses should appreciate the deep pockets and the elastic anchor bands on the LUXOME Luxury sheets.
LUXOME Luxury Sheets Complaints
- The silky feel of these sheets also makes them slippery.
- Sleepers who prefer a more structured, crisp feel might like a different sheet, such as a cotton percale sheet, better.

Is bamboo viscose an eco-friendly option?
Many have cited bamboo viscose as an eco-friendly material. As with most materials given that label, the truth is that it depends. Bamboo is considered sustainable because it grows quickly and is easy to cultivate, with less intensive resource use. However, the viscose process (in which bamboo cellulose fiber is generated into threads) is considered fairly harmful to the environment, due to the chemical processing it requires. Lyocells are generally considered to be a more environmentally-friendly option than viscoses, as the lyocell process is less resource-intensive and uses less harsh chemicals.

LUXOME Luxury Sheets vs Brooklinen Luxe Core Sheets
- The Brooklinen Luxe Core sheets are made from 100 percent long-staple cotton in a sateen weave. They have a 480-thread count.
- The sateen weave gives these sheets a silkier feel for a cotton sheet — they feel buttery and smooth. They have a much more structured and thicker feel than the LUXOME Luxury sheets, but are still very luxurious.
- However, the Brooklinen Luxe Core sheets probably won’t be as good for hot sleepers as the LUXOME Luxury sheets. Cotton sateen sheets don’t offer as much breathability and temperature regulation as bamboo.
