Layla offers great memory foam mattresses and pillows, so if you’re looking for body-contouring and pressure relief, this brand could be the way to go. Saatva specializes in making luxury mattresses. Unlike most other companies on this list, Saatva’s mattresses don’t come in a box. If you’re interested in a high-quality mattress that will last you a long time, a Saatva might be for you. The brand offers the Saatva Classic, which has a traditional innerspring feel, a memory foam option called the Loom & Leaf, and two great latex options, the Zenhaven and Saatva Latex Hybrid. Amerisleep offers a line of memory foam mattresses that range from super firm (the AS1) to ultra-plush (the AS5). All these beds use open-cell memory foam to ensure they sleep cooler than traditional memory foam beds. GhostBed offers several cooling mattress models, so almost everyone should be able to find something to meet their needs. The original GhostBed mattress combines memory foam and latex for a balanced feel that could be great for combination sleepers. The hybridGhostBed Flex and GhostBed 3D Matrix mattresses offer some great bounce. And the plush GhostBed Luxe mattress could be a great fit for side sleepers. Awara offers an organic hybrid mattress that combines latex and pocketed coils. It feels firm and bouncy, so stomach and combination sleepers could really like this bed. Beautyrest offers supportive innerspring and hybrid mattresses that have a traditional feel. We’ve reviewed the Beautyrest Black mattress, which has a firm feel that’s great for stomach and back sleepers, and the Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress, which has a softer feel. Beautyrest has also launched a Beautyrest Harmony line. I’ve tested the Beautyrest Harmony Lux mattress and think it’s a long-lasting option that could work well for couples. Puffy offers gel-infused memory foam mattresses that are great for back and side sleepers. Zoma offers pressure-relieving mattresses designed specifically for athletes. The original Zoma mattress uses zoned memory foam and high-density poly foam to create a supportive feel. Bear offers three different mattresses as well as pillows and bedding accessories. All of Bear’s mattresses are designed with athletes and active sleepers in mind, so if you want something that could aid muscle recovery you may want to consider a Bear. Boll & Branch offers a natural latex hybrid mattress and several other bedroom essentials. Sleepopolis hasn’t reviewed their mattress, but we’re big fans of their soft organic sheets. Idle Sleep offers two all-foam mattresses and two great hybrid beds. The Idle Gel Foam mattress and Idle Gel Plush mattress are fantastic cooling options for side sleepers. The Idle Hybrid and Idle Latex Hybrid are bouncier beds that could work well for combination sleepers. The Idle Hybrid in particular might also be a good option for couples. Cocoon by Sealy
Cocoon by Sealy offers a memory foam and hybrid mattress option. The Cocoon Chill is a straightforward mattress featuring just two layers: one of memory foam and one of high-density poly foam.
